Tim Wesley is an innovative industry leader and pioneer in traditional and digital media business development, strategy, programming, content production and finance. As Blockbuster’s head of programming and content acquisition, Wesley is part of the media company’s senior executive management team and responsible for all aspects of content acquisition, content business development and content partnerships for both digital and physical rental/retail on a worldwide basis. Wesley’s distinguished career in the entertainment industry began as an analyst with Paramount Pictures and continued at Sony Pictures Entertainment; he then co-founded film and television production company Milestone Entertainment. After that, he joined Maverick Films, the production company founded by Madonna and Guy Oseary as COO/CFO where he managed business development, strategy and production operations. He has also worked as COO/CFO at Ripe Digital Entertainment Inc. launching the first 3 screen on-demand content networks and Neustar Media, where he developed go-to-market distribution and monetization strategies for UltraViolet.
